Back in 2007 after spending most weekends down the park having a kick about with friends I decided it would be a good idea to form a football club to play competitively where I took on the role as Chairman as well as making a small number of appearances as a player for a few years.

In 2008 the club had its first season in the Basildon Sunday league.  Since then, the club has been through 2 rebrands and in 2018 switched to play in the Southend Sceptre league, where both our 1^st and 2^nd team still play their football, and our newly formed 1^st Team Reserves playing in the Southend & Basildon Sunday league. 

As the club enters its 17^th competitive season, I have seen the club grow from a group of 15 friends to a successful and well known local club with now over 60 members and continuing to grow.  As a club we have been through some extremely difficult times and have reached some extreme highs and I’m proud to of been on this journey from the very start.  Along the way, I’ve had the pleasure of seeing a huge talent of players and we ensure that this is more than just a Sunday league football side!

We now enter a new phase for the club, one that is proving to be the most exciting project to date and I feel we are close to being the strong community club that we dreamt of being when I first started, I love this club and can’t wait for more success in the seasons to come!
